We start with a step-by-step approach beginning with a visual inspection, asking questions
concerning the trees and/or plants recent history, doing a vitality and/or stored starch testing
(is the tree/plant worth saving? Are you putting good money into unsatisfactory results). Next
comes soil and compaction testing, disease and insect evaluation, overall hazard identification
including branch structure - branches and limbs are part of the tree, but yet separate (see
photos below) and root collar examination. Finally a step-by-step program to improve overall

Our diagnostic approach is primarily based on "if we don't have an answer now, admit it, but
will do the research to find, in most cases, the answer".
